Our Goals

To provide access to AAC in our Indigenous language (and other Indigenous Languages) and the supports necessary to make them useable.

Develop

Develop a vocabulary and voice. And then develop networks of users and training for all.

Share

Share our methods with other Indigenous language projects. Share our materials with all language learners.

Support

Support for AAC users, families, teachers, and Speech Therapists.

Language Matters

The Lakota language is endangered. Teaching our children to speak our language helps preserve our ways of thinking and our history. Every Lakota child, regardless of their ability to speak with their voice, deserves to speak Lakota.

We have a number of people working on this project
